NOTICE

Arpookara Grama Panchayat

As part of the monsoon preparedness measures, all private property owners within the limits of Arpookara Grama Panchayat are hereby directed to cut and remove trees and tree branches that pose a threat to life and property.

Trees or branches that are dangerously leaning over roads, residential buildings, or electric lines must be removed at the owner's responsibility without delay.

Failure to comply with this direction will invite strict action under Section 238(1)(A) of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and the Disaster Management Act, 2005.

Further, in order to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and to avoid the nuisance caused by reptiles and other pests, all residents are advised to keep their houses and premises clean and free from waste, vegetation overgrowth, and stagnant water. The responsibility for maintaining cleanliness rests with the property owner/occupier.
